Affiliate Disclosure
GLP Screen earns money through affiliate links. This page explains what that means.
What is an affiliate link?
Some links on this site go to online lab testing companies that pay us a commission when someone orders through our link. The commission comes from the company, not from you. You pay the same price whether you use our link or go to the company directly.
Affiliate links on this site go through addresses that start with glpscreen.com/go/. They are marked for search engines as sponsored links.
Which companies might pay us?
We have applied, or plan to apply, to affiliate programs run by these companies:
- Walk-In Lab
- Personalabs
- HealthLabs.com
- Private MD Labs
Until a program approves us, links to that company may not earn anything. We show prices from Quest and Labcorp’s own consumer sites for comparison. Those are not affiliate links.
Does this affect what we write?
We try hard to make sure it does not:
- Prices come from each company’s own website on a stated date, whether or not the company pays us.
- We do not give out star ratings or “best” awards. Comparisons use facts you can check, like price, fees, and which states a company serves.
- We note drawbacks, such as higher prices or fees, for companies that pay us.
- Commissions never change what the sources say about a test or a medication.
Where does this disclosure appear?
A short version appears near the top of every page with affiliate links, and in the footer of every page. This follows the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s guidance that endorsements and affiliate relationships should be disclosed clearly.
